Privacy Policy

Flightcrewguide.com (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates flightcrewguide.com (the “Service”). This policy explains the limited data involved in running the Service. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any form of user tracking. No analytics services, ad networks, or social media scripts are loaded, and no profiling or behavioral data is collected.

The only cookies set on this site are strictly necessary technical cookies, which do not require consent:

  • Cloudflare sets the __cf_bm cookie, and possibly cf_clearance after completing the challenge page. These cookies are essential for security: they distinguish real visitors from malicious bots and keep the site protected and fast. The __cf_bm cookie expires after approximately 30 minutes of continuous inactivity of the end user. cf_clearance expires after 30 minutes to one year, depending on the use case.
  • PayPal donations are handled through a redirect to PayPal's own website. PayPal does not set cookies on this website. Once you leave this site and visit paypal.com, PayPal's own cookie policy applies to their services.

Because the only cookies this website uses are strictly necessary, your consent is not required before they are set. You can nonetheless delete or block any cookie through your browser settings without affecting access to the site's content.

Server Logs

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider (SiteGround) automatically records technical request data such as your IP address, browser type, and requested pages in server logs. These logs exist purely for security and troubleshooting, are not used to identify or profile visitors, and are deleted automatically after a short retention period. Standard website server access logs are generally available for the latest 30 days. We do not build statistics from them and no third party has access to them except our hosting provider acting on our behalf.

Cloudflare Turnstile (CAPTCHA)

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam and bots. It runs only on forms that need protection and verifies you're human using technical/browser signals (IP address, device and browser characteristics). This processing is governed by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and is used solely for security.

Personal Data You Give Us

We do not run user accounts. The only personal data we hold is what you voluntarily send us, for example when contacting us by email. We use it solely to answer you and keep nothing longer than necessary.

When We Might Share Data

We may disclose technical log data or volunteered information if we believe in good faith it is necessary to meet a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, or protect the safety of users or the public.

Where Your Data Goes

This site is hosted in the European Union. Cloudflare acts as a processor for the Turnstile verification. We do not transfer personal data to any other country or organization.

Your Rights (EU/UK Visitors)

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. Since we collect almost nothing, most requests will concern emails you sent us. Contact us and we will respond promptly.

Links to Other Websites

The Service may link to websites we don't operate. We're not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so review their policies before sharing information.

Children's Privacy

The Service isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes take effect when posted, and we recommend checking back periodically.
